Your home dashboard is the first screen you land on after signing in, and the one the Bettr Manager logo always brings you back to. It gathers the day's work onto a single screen: where you are in setup, what's running today, and every part of the app your plan turns on. This is what each panel on the home dashboard means, and where it takes you.
The top of the screen greets you by your first name, with today's full date spelled out beneath it — Tuesday, July 14, 2026. It's a header, not a control; nothing here links anywhere. Everything below it is the day's work.
While your workspace is still coming together, a Finish setting up Bettr card sits near the top. It's a checklist of the six things that turn an empty workspace into a running operation:
The last three carry an Optional badge. Each finished step shows a green check; each step still to do shows a dashed circle and, on the one you'd tackle next, a button that takes you straight there. The line under the heading tracks your progress — while required steps remain it nudges you along, and once they're all done it reads You're set up. Bettr's ready when you are. A Dismiss button clears the card for good when you no longer need it.

Under the heading Quick actions is a grid of cards that put today's floor a click away. They come in two kinds: cards tied to today's production run, and standing shortcuts that are always ready.
The first card is Today's run. When a run is scheduled for today's date, this card names that run, shows how many recipes it covers, and links straight to it. On a day with no run scheduled — what you see before you've built today's run — it reads No production run today and sits inactive.
Four cards sit alongside it, each a shortcut into a part of today's run:
Each opens the matching part of today's run. Until a run exists for today, all four read No run today and stay inactive — there is nothing yet to open.
Three quick actions don't wait on a run and are ready whenever your plan includes them:
Below the quick actions, the Modules grid is your map of the app: one card per module your plan turns on, each opening that section. A module your plan doesn't include simply isn't shown, so the grid always matches what you actually have.
The quick actions and the modules grid are both built from what your plan turns on and what your role lets you see, so two people at the same company can open the same dashboard and find different cards. When a card you expect is missing, it's usually one of three things: your plan doesn't include that module, your role doesn't grant access to it, or — for the run cards — no run is scheduled for today.
Higher plans add more cards
Cards like Kitchen returns and Staff schedule belong to the Plant plan, so they appear only once that module is on. For which plan turns on which module, see Plans and pricing reference.
