Print a sticker for every lot a receipt put away, each carrying the product, its lot number, its expiration date, and a QR code the floor can scan.

A pallet of jasmine rice you put away this morning is on its rack, counted and on hand. Before anyone weighs a case into a batch or picks one for an order, each case needs a sticker the floor can read at a glance — the lot it belongs to, when it expires, and a code they can scan back to the batch. That is what a lot label is for. Open Receiving, find the order once its line reads Received, and print one.
Kitchen+Open the received order
In Receiving, open the order you want to label. A line only carries labels once you have received it and put it away, so look for one whose stage reads Received.
Open the line's lot labels
On the Received line, next to Details, select the QR-code button — Lot labels. It opens the Lot labels panel over the order.
Check the labels
The panel shows one label for each stored the putaway created. Each label sits beside a plain-text readout of the same lot — its product, cases, expiry, and order — so you can confirm you are labeling the right stock before you print.
Select Print labels. Your browser's print dialog opens, and every lot prints on its own sticker, sized for a label printer.
Each sticker holds what the floor needs to place a case without opening the system:
Scan a case to pull its lot up
The QR code is the same one the scanner reads across stock, picking, and counts. Scan a labeled case and Bettr opens that exact lot — where it's stored, how much is left, and when it expires. See Look up a lot.
Nothing is used up when you print. The labels stay with the receipt, so reopen the order in Receiving and select Lot labels again whenever a case loses its sticker or a new shift needs a fresh set — the lot numbers and QR codes come back exactly as they were.
Labels come after putaway
A line has nothing to label until its stock is put away and it reads Received — putaway is the step that creates the stock items a label points at. Open Lot labels before then and the panel tells you there are no stored stock items to label yet. Put the stock away first: see Put away received stock.
