Build a purchase order for one vendor, add the products you're buying, and let their agreed prices fill in every line.

You're down to two sacks of jasmine rice and the grain supplier wants the order by Friday. Instead of digging last quarter's price out of an old email, you build the order once — pick the products, set the quantities, and Bettr fills in the price for each line from what you've already agreed with that vendor. You raise a against a single vendor, so two things need to be in place first:
Open a new order
From Purchase orders, select New.
Set the delivery date
Under Order details, pick the Expected delivery date — the day you expect the vendor to deliver. It has to be today or later, and you can move it later if the vendor's window shifts. Add Notes for anything the vendor should know.
Add a product
Under Add product, search by name or code and pick the product. Set the Quantity. Leave Unit price blank to take the vendor price, or type a number to override it for this line. Select Add product, and the line drops into Added products below.
Add the rest and check the total
Add each remaining product the same way. Added products lists every line with its per-unit price, and the footer keeps a running Purchase order total so you can see what you're committing to.
Create the order
Select Create purchase order. The order opens on its own page as Pending — a request waiting for someone to approve it.
Every line starts from a . Leave the Unit price blank and Bettr uses that price — and if the vendor gives a break at higher quantities, it applies the best one your quantity qualifies for. Type a number only when you've agreed a one-off price for this order.
Watch the next price break
When a product's price drops at a higher quantity, the line shows how many more units it takes to reach it and what you'd save — so a small bump in the order can pay for itself.
A purchase order goes to a single vendor. The first product you add locks the order to that product's vendor, and from then on the product search only offers what that vendor carries.
To buy from someone else, start fresh
You can't mix vendors on one order. To switch, remove every product so you can pick a different vendor — or create a second order for the other one.
A new order is Pending: a request, not a placed order. Someone with approval authority reviews it and approves or rejects it, and only an approved order can be received against. While it's still pending you can edit it or discard it — nothing is retyped over, so the order's history stays intact.
